Hi Doug, I’ve been 811rv for just over 3 years now, the last two in the tropics eating majority of my meals mono, and have been having a recurring issue throughout this time. With a lot of fruits I get what some people refer to as “melon belly”. Just a slight upper belly pain mid meal which goes away in about 15 minutes, and afterwards I can keep on eating. An example is mangoes which after usually 3 (1kg) I get the pain and then wait it out and then can eat another 6 (2 kg) without any pain. Mangoes and melons are the worst but I can also get it with rambutans, longans, bananas, and dates. Also before living in the tropics I was getting it with apples and grapes. I’ve never had it from more savoury salads or the occasional raw zucchini pasta dishes, it only seems to be from sweet fruits. Also no matter how much durian I eat I’ve never had it from that. I’m 37, 5’10”, 52kgs with about 10% body fat and since starting 811 have gone from couch potato to very active(cycling, running, yoga). Any ideas what could be causing this issue? Thanks, Stephen
