In my journey on 811, I continue to expand my focus on the other 30+ lifestyle factors of thriving health. The factor of a "pleasant environment" is one that I am currently working on. I live in a very small apartment, that feels rather crammed--though I have tried to remove all unnecessary large objects--and is often messy due to my lack of organization. When school is in session, I feel short on time and often neglect my house. I at least try to keep it somewhat clean, while letting things pile up (books, clothing, other clutter). I am working on developing better and consistent habits to take care of my house, even when I feel I have no time to! It makes a big difference on my levels of tranquility when my home is pleasant--e.g. organized and good appearance. The philosophy of 811rv motivates me to take better care of my home! Speaking of living in a very small apartment, a question that I for you all is about kitchen space. I am finding it very challenging to comfortably store all my produce and dishes in my kitchen. I have a very small amount of counter space, which can barely hold all my produce, along with my blender and food processor that I use daily, let alone leave me any space for preparing meals. I don't have many shelves, and what those that I do have, I need for dishes. I have tried to minimize my dishes as far as possible. I even got rid of my dish drying rack, and I am instead towel drying and store dishes immediately. Any tips for maximizing kitchen space, and areas to store produce? I am very open to creative ideas! Thanks, sweetbananas
