Hi Augusto, Hydrostatic (underwater) weighing has long been considered the "gold standard." It appears that DEXA (x-ray) may be even more accurate now. Here are some comments from Dr. Graham: "It doesn't matter if your body fat measurement is accurate. What you need is a machine or method that is relatively consistent. The numbers are meaningless. If you want the most accurate method, it is DEXA scan. It is performed in hospitals, and costs plenty." AND "For most people, we don't care about the number, but the direction that number is heading." So, whatever method you use, make sure you use the same method and same method-taker each time to encourage consistency. Also, try to take under the same circumstances (same hydration level, same amount of time elapsed since eating and exercising, etc.). Hope this helps. :)
