Bicep curls work your muscles in isolation. Because of that, I recommend not doing bicep curls. From "The New Rules of Lifting, Six Basic Moves for Maximum Muscle", pages 8 and 9, it writes "Exercises that use lots of muscles in coordinated actions are better than those that force muscles to work in isolation." You want your muscles to grow proportionally so that they work in balance each other (push and pull). Alwyn Cosgrove from "The New Rules" also says that bicep curls are not an efficient use of your time. 80/10/10 raw vegan Chris Califano says the same thing at http://www.thefirstsupper.com/mythsmore/mostcommonquestion.html, "It is safer and much more productive to work your small muscle groups like biceps along with your large muscles just as they function in real life. Biceps are small muscles, and you can easily strain their connecting tendons with even small amounts of weight, like a 65 pound barbell."

Keep eating 80/10/10rv. Stop doing bicep curls.
