A friend ate it for like 9 mos, fueled by Mireille Guliano's book "French Women Don't Get Fat" as she thought she was doing something "healthy" for herself by doing so.
Her colon began hurting so she stopped the chocolate. Then she began having lowgrade fevers. It's been a year and she still has the colon pain and fevers and is too afraid to go to the doctor. Adding the chocolate was the only change in diet she'd made and previously had been quite healthy.
The company, previously an organic independent with integrity, had been taken over by one of the global food giants and they use soy in the formula. 91% of soy products were GM as of 2007, therefore the percentage is probably even higher now.
People are sucked in by the pretty label and the word "organic" and think they're eating a healthy "superfood" and it's destroying them.
I know we eat fruit here, but some of us have friends who are transitioning on "organic" things.
