Hi Just me,
This is a typical day day for me;
Up at around 7.30am-drink 1 litre of water.
Breakfast is a 1500cal banana smoothie with minimal
water.
About 2-3 hours later I have my second litre of
water for the day and generally another banana
smoothie-usually same calories as breakfast
Prior to the evening, so around 4-5pm I will then
have a water based fruit monomeal, such as 10
oranges or a pineapple. I am not 100% yet and have
another litre of water prior to my evening meal
which tends to be raw veggies and a macdougall style
supper. Try to get to bed between 8-9pm each night.
I have attempted 100% 811 3 times and only last for
about 30 days, as my body starts to reject the fruit
and I become constipated and full of gas - it feels
like my body is holding onto the food. I have never
incorporated macdougall style evening meals
before(before it was standard vegan cooked) and tbh
I feel exactly the same as I do if I was 100% raw;
The first week being almost unbearable (headaches,
tiredness, trouble sleeping) the second week becoming
easier, then out of the blue I quease out on fruit.
I've been managing anxiety daily since 2007 and have
digestion problems if I can't relax, which is daily
or most of the time when I go 100% or what I'm doing
at the mo and don't feel like doing anything, other
than resting. I generally feel ok before and after
my breakfast, with slight anxiety, but generally as
the day goes on I become very tense.
Unfortunately vegan cooked food calms my anxiety and
then when I crack on this, my nerves are calmed and
my digestion for a while. I'm almost low in b12
(147) and have been supplementing for about a year
now
I have extremely strong will power and persistence,
but this has been the hardest thin I've ever had to
do, as feeling constantly anxious and not being able
to sleep can be very frighting. I'm considering
taking 4-6 weeks to continue what I'm doing and just
simply rest and see if that will help my digestion-I
can't currently work or socialise etc due to my
anxiety.
I've also been listening to the perfect health
program and realise in the past I paid too much
attention to exercise and food and not enough to
rest and sleep, which seems to be my weakest link.
When I go 100% 811 or close to with macdougall style
suppers, I don't have the energy to exercise and
havent exercised for several months now.
Sorry to go on - I think I just need to persist and
simply rest?
