Usually one would need (or "need") more gross calories on lfrv than on cooked. There is several reasons for that: malabsorption of energy substrate (fructose); lower protein; higher fiber content means lower transit time of food, means less time for absorption, i.e. of fructose; fructose does not trigger leptin response, means makes you want eat more (hence "need").
