hi blissfully raw,

I eat the seeds with the fruit separately, but together. I just put the flax meal in a little glass and take little bits as I go through the fruit.

I go through streaks of blending, then not using the blender at all.

Eating things not blended slows the process down, and helps me avoid over-eating.

I don’t combine seeds. I’ve tried combining chia and flax, grinding them together, but I much prefer them separately. (No need to grind chia.)

Because overts are such dense and complex foods, and so difficult to digest even alone, I would recommend to never combine them with other overts. I also like them late in the day. My flax meal is the last of the day. I do not want simpler foods eaten on top of flax, no. Also, overts tend to put me to sleep, which I don't need in the midst of the day.

I never make dressings for my salads. My normal salad is lettuce, celery, cucumber and tomatoes. I love the taste of everything and never miss a dressing.

Everything is pretty simple with me. I fill up a bowl and eat with my hands.

It’s hard to express how much joy this diet gives me. I even think the bowl of scaps is beautiful. :)

Okay, yes...there are the problems with the seeds biased towards O3...

1) there are not many of them...not much variety, no

2) they are not the most tasty of overts, that is sure

3) nor do they have a pleasant texture, one is gritty and the other is bone dry

Now, personally I do enjoy flax and chia...my absolute necessity for them make me love them dearly. And as I don’t do much overts, my meal with flax/chia and citrus is one of my favorite times of the day.

I don’t know many people who like flax, that is true. Few have even heard of chia, outside of the ceramic “pet” by that name, and they surely have never thought of chia as a food.

---------------

It takes about 3 months of an O6 biased diet before I start having negative symptoms.

To undo the symptoms, it takes just a week and a half of an O3 biased diet.

If one has acute, severe symptoms of depression or other mental illness, I see no problem with going to flax oil for a short time and going over 10% fat until the symptoms are gone. As I said, this should only be a couple of weeks, max. But for the maintenance diet, I have never needed oil or high fat. I am steady as a rock and fearless on 80/10/10. Anyone who has suffered serious illness knows what I am talking about...you tend to look over your shoulder. But those days are totally gone for me.

I wish I were in a position to work with persons and observe their progress on the diet. I know how dramatically I have been helped, and I am sure the vast majority of sufferers would have results as good or better than mine. I could almost bust knowing this, while seeing the wreckage of suffering people in the world.
