Post-nasal drip http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post_nasal_drip It is frequently caused by allergy, which may be seasonal or persistent throughout the year. See how the 80/10/10 raw vegan diet helps with allergies, by Andrew Perlot, an 80/10/10 raw vegan and former student of Doug Graham: http://www.raw-food-health.net/Allergies-Cure.html I get mucus from overconsumption of food. Everything good can be eaten in moderation. Avoid everything bad. The diet is very simple and low-maintenance. Buy low-fat fruits and greens in bulk (in boxes) or individually once a week. Organic is best. If not ordering in bulk from a co-op, you need to ask the grocer to bring boxes of fruit from the back or to order some for you. I buy at least seven heads of romaine lettuce per week, which is at least one per day. The rest are soft fruit, things that usually contain seeds such as bananas, dates, blueberries, persimmons, oranges, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Bananas and dates are my main calorie source. Eat directly or cut with a knife and cutting board and then eat. You don't need to worry about nutrients when you consume your calories, which is more food then you would eat on a cooked-food diet. I don't eat overt fats, such as seeds, nuts, and avocados, but a few per day will still be below 10% of calories. Nuts and seeds may be dehydrated, not fresh and may not be raw (able to grow a new plant). They are optional. Keep it simple, low-fat fruits and greens, and you'll succeed.
