Hi Lena,
Obviously, I'm not Dr. Graham, but thought I'd throw my two cents in here just in case it helps. There is so much more than the deficiencies you mentioned that can cause diarrhea; in fact too much magnesium can cause diarrhea as well (ever heard of Milk of Magnesia?). I believe diarrhea can be the body's way to getting rid of stuff that is irritating/toxic to it. In fact, I had a recent experience with this where I ate an abundance of raw red giant mustard leaves from my garden, all in one sitting, despite the fact that they caused burning and irritation (why I did this is not relevant to this post, but if you are interested I will explain). Anyway, I felt sick to my stomach the rest of the afternoon and began producing copious amounts of diarrhea that evening and the next morning -- diarrhea meaning dark green water along with the rest of the waste. After all was passed, I felt great again.
Here are some other things I've found produce way too loose bowels -- drinking too much water ("too much" meaning that I drink so much that I pee well over the recommended 8-12x/24 hrs.), consuming the majority of my meals "blended," and certain foods like the abundance of mustard greens, and high levels of stress coupled with not enough rest/sleep.
By any chance, do you keep a food and lifestyle diary that you can refer to and perhaps link cause and effect? If not, you might want to try that.
Also, would you mind posting a typical day or two of consumption (water and food), and lifestyle (rest, sleep, sunshine, fresh air, activity, etc.) that preceds a bout of diarrhea?
I really empathize with you on this one. Diarrhea is not only uncomfortable, but can really interfere with one's ability to live life to the full!
In the meantime, take gentle care, Lena.
