Judith, I brush and floss after every time that I eat because I don't like food on my teeth. I brush with water. I also have a pumice power, which I can put on my toothbrush to polish my teeth once a week. I don't know if I have cavities. I have no tooth sensitivity. Are you eating your greens? I eat about a head of romaine lettuce per day. This week I bought nine heads for seven days, which is what I'll be eating. If you were to eat cooked (denatured) food, you would be eating carbohydrates anyway, and they stick to your teeth more, so the brushing and flossing is the same for cooked or raw food. I don't consume supplements or overt fats. Conclusion:

* Keep it simple.
* Eat whole, fresh, ripe, raw, organic, low-fat fruits and greens. Fruits are those things with seeds such as tomatoes. For example, I cut up a tomato and eat it. I eat lettuce directly from the head, brushing off the dirt.
* Buy in bulk once a week a few types of fruits and greens. Romaine lettuce has been my only green. Bananas and dates are a staple. Other fruits contribute to the variety over a year.
* Brush and floss after every meal so that bacteria don't eat the food on your teeth.
* Optionally, use pumice powder to polish once a week.
* Have the same confidence that Doug Graham has.
