I haven't seen this particular wound, but here are some of the considerations when worrying about tetanus.

1. This condition is primarily only a concern around barnyards, where there is fecal matter.
2. This condition primarily arises after puncture wounds, rather than from bleeding cuts or scrapes.

Hope this helps you in making your decision, by eliminating some causes for concern.
