Interesting info Christopher, and good point Dr. D. I guess my question stemmed from a concern that I will hurt myself when I go back to training after a long break. Of course the answer to that is not to take a long break, right? Right. 10 years ago I could do this and jump back in without injury, now I don't know. Children seem to rarely get athletic injuries and are incredibly flexible. They also never do the same things in ridiculous repetition. And they don't seem terribly concerned with 6 pack abs...all in all good role models.
