Nectarine, In Doug's book, Nutrition & Athletic Performance, he discusses various ways of getting some calories in during training. Soak dried fruit in water (for 24+ hrs) & drink the water while running. Make banana smoothies...I'd use bananas & water (maybe a bit of celery too)...you can add other fruit also if you like. Good luck. How far are you gonna run this weekend?
