Cryptic is exactly not my style.
How would you have answered the generic question about chiropractic that would have been more useful than the answer I supplied? I have used that answer since I was in chiropractic college, where that is what I was trained to understand. If you need a chiro, nothing else will do. If you don't need one, they can't really help you. Seems straightforward to me, and anything but cryptic.

I agree, good use of definitions is useful. I spent some time with a university-level botany teacher who had spent over 40 years in his field, both at school and in industry. He and I went over my understanding of hybrid, from a variety of angles. He explained that all life forms are hybrids of previous life forms. Mutations and hybrids are different things, we understand that, but when mutations occur and there is the inevitable subsequent breeding, we end up with hybrids.

To my understanding, all plants, and all animals, are currently hybrids of earlier models.
