Ive ran 2 in the last 2 months and have one more chance in 6 weeks to
finally crack the sub 3hr barrier (my goal for the year).
Look up Mike Arnstein, he ran a 2:28 in boston this year and is a
hardcore fruit bat too. I think he has ran 10 marathons this year?
I ran a 5k pb last saturday of 18:48.
This the best diet if you want to run drug free pb's for sure.
Someone asked low carb 'guru' Mark Sisson about training for a
marathon on a low carb diet and he said 'You simply cant..'
Marathons are easy when your carbed up, hydrated, slept, done the
training and PACE yourself properly. Going out too hard guarantees a
blow out in the last half.
Get a garmin and stick to a sustainable pace, not too fast, not too
slow..just at marathon tempo.
