I have to honestly agree. It may be a great idea for someone who is bulimic/overeater as they are able to eat enough easily, I agree.And having a limited diet would indeed help someone with food addiction issues. But for someone with severe anorexia (non purging) that struggles to consume enough even with cooked, its very difficult if not impossible to mentally and physically to eat enough to gain anything. A limited diet further narrows foods that would entice them to eat. Not good if the person is already severely emaciated and at a life threatening weight. I dont know the solution or what is the best way to get in more dense calories that are optimal. If you have a way that a person in this state can eat healthfully and manage to eat enough without the issues of severe bloating, gas, stomach/intestinal pain, cost, and dealing with the large volumes needed, please post. If the person has teeth issues already (dates and dried fruits are out) and doesnt care for bananas, has financial issues from not being able to work, this is really difficult. High raw, yes, but 100% maybe not. Not until their hunger normalizes and digestive issues subside?
