I have to honestly agree. It may be a great idea for someone who is
bulimic/overeater as they are able to eat enough easily, I agree. And
having a limited diet would indeed help someone with food addiction
issues.

But for someone with severe anorexia (non purging) that struggles to
consume enough even with cooked, its very difficult if not impossible
to mentally and physically to eat enough to gain anything. A limited
diet further narrows foods that would entice them to eat. Not good if
the person is already severely emaciated and at a life threatening
weight. I dont know the solution or what is the best way to get in
more dense calories that are optimal. If you have a way that a person
in this state can eat healthfully and manage to eat enough without the
issues of severe bloating, gas, stomach/intestinal pain, cost, and
dealing with the large volumes needed, please post. If the person has
teeth issues already (dates and dried fruits are out) and doesnt care
for bananas, has financial issues from not being able to work, this is
really difficult. High raw, yes, but 100% maybe not. Not until their
hunger normalizes and digestive issues subside?
