First of all 811 is not a frutarian diet. Calories predominate from fruits but volume is dominated by vegetables. If you are not eating a sufficient amount of vegetables such as celery or lettuce you are going to see problems. 1. As for the dental problems eat more vegetables! Also dried fruit is not recommended on 811 so this is bogus and doesn't apply here. Bulimia is linked with starch and not sugar so is also bogus. Blaming acid fruit for tooth problems is like blaming sugar for diabetes. 2. Sugar addiction. This is also bogus as there has never been 1 documented case of uncooked fruit sugar addiction. Sugar does not act like a stimulant when it comes from sources of fruit. Time and time again Dr. G has shown fat is the problem with all those other symptoms labeled here. 3. Mono meals are the easiest meals for our digestive systems and I can guarantee that it will not cause a problem for digestion. Likely people are doing improper combining here. Like Dr. G says, one fruit at a time, when you're hungry, 'til your full, of whole, fresh, ripe, raw, organic, plants. This post looks like an attack on 811 but none of these problems are associated with 811 so it has failed. If you read the 811 book you would know that. 811 is not a frutarian diet since the volume from the diet will most likely contain more vegetables than fruit. I guarantee people that try 811 and do it right without leaving out all of the other important aspect of natural hygiene will never have a complaint. If you are actually eating the diet perfectly and are having some type of problem then you have to seriously start looking at your lifestyle to find out if there are any other problems that need correcting. Diet is just a tiny part of healthy living and people love to point the finger at the diet.
