It is not at all uncommon during phases of dramatic weight loss to
see the fat in the blood. This is reflected by the higher numbers you
ask about. When the weight loss stops, the numbers will go down.
Until then, the fat must circulate into the blood in order to be
metabolized. I see nothing to worry about, and believe your physician
will tell you the same.
