Prior to 811, I'd been aprox 90% raw for 2 years. I was definitely doing the high fat version of raw including raw nut butters, avocados and dehydrated raw desserts with a mix of fruit, greens and veggie juices. I felt pretty aweful at the end of that time (and relieved to find 811) but didn't have any dental problems during those first 2 years.
After starting 811, I did transition with 100% raw food, way less fat, but did eat out at raw restaurants about once a month for the first few months. After that, I made macaroons a couple times at home in the dehydrator as my fat source. I didn't think much of it because I'd eaten them in the first 2 years of being higher fat raw.
I was eating about 20g of protein a day with my fruit and veggies. (accoring to Fitday calculations)
I was severely fatigued and sometimes even walking up stairs was an effort. I also never felt well rested even after 9-10 hrs of sleep at night.
My doctor suggested I incorporate animal protein back in my diet (which I did reluctantly) but my energy levels did return and I feel much more energized in the morning with the same amount of daily calories. I continue to eat only fruit before noon, then do raw veggies and a combo of cooked and raw animal protein. This usually adds up to 40-50 g of protein a day which is still aprox 10% of my daily calories.
