I'm curious too. You said that you love eating 811 and so you want to find a way to make it work. But if you were tired, then why did you love it?

I wonder how knowledgeable your doctor is. Protein deficiency sounds so hard to come by. I am not concerned about protein one bit, and I am raising 2 kids 811. Fruits and veggies alone give you 5% protein which is what the WHO recommends. Even in non-raw literature, they say don't worry about protein as long as you're getting enough CALORIES. (because 5% on a 1,000 cal/day regimen is insufficient, of course) I read in a non-raw book that even a diet of white rice will give you plenty of protein. It's a non-issue.

But I wonder why you were tired? Maybe you weren't eating enough. That might account for the low energy and low protein. How much do you sleep at night?

I am also concerned about dental health. I have lots of cavities, but I had them years ago on the SAD diet and never filled them. They haven't gotten (much) worse. So I don't blame the raw diet.
