| Subject: | Gaining weight on sweet fruits - Dr. D help! |

Dr. Graham,
I'm having difficulties with 811. When I eat a raw diet of high fruit, I tend to gain weight, especially around the waist area. I'm 5'6, 135 lbs.
A typical meal would be:
Morning: large pomelo
Lunch: 7-8 large persimmons
Afternoon snack: 5-7 bananas
Dinner: salad (usually half head of cauliflower, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cilantro and green onion.)
I eat avocados maybe 2-3 times a week.
You are probably gonna say, increase exercise. But I struggle with adrenal fatigue and cannot do vigorous exercise. I can only do mild walking and stretching. When I tried vigorous exercise, I felt depleted and extremely tired.
Oh and I sleep about 9hrs a day.
I went to the hospital and got tested for all my blood works. Everything is normal. Thyroids, adrenals, hormonal balance, etc.
I've been thinking about this all day, and the only way for me to maintain (not gain) weight is to eat less sweet fruits and more veggies and fat. Maybe an avocado a day. But if I go back to conventional raw diets, I'd have to eat salt and condiments to flavor the veggies, otherwise I can't consume a lot.
What is your advice?
