I have the narrow short. Got #30 and wish I had gotten #50 (although #30 kicks my butt on most things, it would be nice to have the option, since you can always pull weights and add them back...). So sounds like you're right on. Wouldn't worry about more than #50 -- obviously for dips and chins you can add more w/ a belt, and more than that for conditioning is probably going to jack up your knees, in my opinion....
