I have an really good holistic dentist with a dynamite hygenist and the last time I was there (I only go every 3 years to get my teeth cleaned) the hygenist told me that the small area of my gums I have problems with is connected to my digestive system, which I thought was interesting since I was transitioning to 80-10-10. So whenever I eat something a little "off" the diet that area swells up. So remember, it is said that each tooth is related to a body part and it could be that body part that is acting up...instead of the problem being in your actual tooth or gum. The gums could be the area that is just expressing symptoms. With that said, all I have to do is stick to the diet and it goes away...so removing the cause. Better to figure that out than take antibiotics or go to a "gum doctor". Maybe go online and research that a bit. Regards
