Subject:         fresh peanuts and jack fruit in NJ

So I was perusing the east indian markets (boy, was I out of place walkin around there)while I was in New Jersey last weekend to find anything different and I came across some "fresh" peanuts so I bought a handful. Boy, they ARE different! Totally moist and pretty tasteless actually.

I also spotted Jackfruit so I picked up a couple. They only had small ones. They are green right now and do not give at all. They have this white stuff on them, too, don't know what that's about. Any advice on when and how to eat these?

Also, they had mangoes labeled as "green mangos" and looked rather large. What are these?
Thanks!
