Yesterday I found a two-dollar bill on Pearl Harbor. Today I found a Susan B. Anthony dollar coin.
What's unusual is that I have not found either of these in the past (I've found many bills, Eisenhower silver dollars, President dollars, and even Sakajawea dollars over the years). My speculation is that the South Koreans, whose ship has been tied up here for a week, do not recognize these as genuine US money and toss them. You seldom see either of these in circulation on the base.
