In Reply to: Is your fear of sodium-cooled nuclear up to date? I read a report posted by Jack in OH on February 11, 2012 at 10:12 am:

Read about the Santa Susana sodium reactor. My Hidh School was about four miles from here, where 60,000,00 ppb perchrolate was found. This was the very first atomic reactor accident in the USA. Boeing has never cleaned the site completly. This was the birthplace of the Saturn 5 rocket, that could be seen in the Santa Susana mountains, 10 miles west of Canoga Park California.
