Did "leftists" determine that CFCs were destroying the ozone layer?

Did "leftists" invent antibiotics?

Did "leftists" determine that the Earth was not the center of the universe? I can tell you that the guy who did discover that was put in jail by a Christian.

I could go on, for hours, but I have other things to do.
