It's a great idea, really. It's the way Japanese schools run. They take turns doing different chores. One day one group of public school students does the cooking for lunch and another cleans the dishes and the mess hall. On another day they swap out. They do all the janitorial chores. What better way to teach respect for honest labor and public property and to repay the taxpayers' kindness for their education? Aren't lefties always talking about "giving back?" Why is it that every idea lefties think is bad, that in the real world, is actually a good idea? Newt is actually way too liberal for my taste, but he's better than any Democrat.
