The LRA has been around for 25 years, just another one of the innumerable guerilla groups that infest Africa. They have never been particularly anti-American or gone out of their way to target Americans or American interests, that I know of. So what suddenly makes them so dam important that it warrants commiting US troops to another third-world armpit? And where are all the liberals shrieking 'QUAGMIRE' and 'NO BLOOD FOR [insert buzzword here]'? This surely looks like an unmitigated waste of blood and treasure to me, so what am I not seeing?
