change the mind of a project engineer at one of Toledo's largest construction companies, who had trashed my message, and that of Al Gore, for over a year. I was very surprised when he walked in. After my presentation, he spoke up and said that as I knew, he had been skeptical of the science, but no more. He said he now understands what it's about, and that it's real.

Also in attendance was the city council president of a town sitting on the shore of Lake Erie. They would like to put large wind turbines out in the lake. The construction company guy's company can do just that. What a deal.

The high school's physics teacher sent one of his students, who was doing a paper on global warming. She was a senior. I hope her paper turned out well.

During, and after the talk, I took many questions people typically have, such as there having been cold and warm periods over the past hundreds of thousands, and millions of years, when there were no SUVs, or the burning of any fossil fuels. I was able to answer all their questions. That really was the equivalent of a debate.
