Jack is a result of some really unfortunate things that happened to him in his youth (and things that DID NOT happen to him as well. He has created a hatred of those that remind him of his shortcomings. As I mentioned regarding mark, I am contstantly overcoming a desire to "poke sticks throgh the bars at Jack (and mark as well). The primariy reason NOT to do this is that they will not learn anything from the experience, and secondly, doing so gives me a dirty feeling. The notion of leaving them alone is akin to what I feel about those who are derisive of christians here. Part of me wants to show them the true path, and part of me wants to assure that they will never reach my promised land. That decision, anyways, will be made by our maker, and not me. These ignorants are sorely in need of help, anyways, but I will not worry about their fate. Their ignorance id their own punishment. Jack has no hope, and will live and die in ignorance. His problem.
