It's reactions are:
1. Sea level increases, which are accelerating, and are unprecedented over the last few hundred thousand years.

2. Increased acidification of the oceans, and other bodies of water, all over the planet. Not good if you have a calcium carbonate shell.

3. Increased air temperatures, most notably in the Arctic, where the summer ice melt is at the highest it's been in a MILLION years. Dispute that.

4 Greenland's ice is melting at an accelerating rate. If the melt water lubricates the base of the land-based glaciers, they could slip into the sea, causing drastic rises in sea level.

5. Breakup of the West Antarctic ice shelf. Once that's gone, what's to hold back the land-based ice sheets, which are above sea level, and one to two miles thick. Say goodbye to coastal towns, and island nations.

6. Plants and animals are moving to higher, cooler ground, where they can. If they can't, they'll go extinct.

I could go on, but the scientific reports that you won't read already have.
