I could have told you what the proponents of a politically motivated conclusion would claim about its correctness. What do you expect them to say? "Here is our theory, and based upon it, we demand that you overturn our economy and tax the crap out of everything, but it's probably wrong"? This is a leftist power grab, plain and simple. Real scientists don't need or want the likes of Daryl Hannah and Leonardo Dicaprio to carry their water.
