Tennessee spends more on roads per capita than any other state. Why? It is a long-standing scheme by which state dimocrap pols receive kickbacks from their crony road contractors, ŕ la Huey Long. If the federal gummit is financing any of that, then it's because of corruption and greed which you will want to pin entirely on Republicans for no good reason except that is just how you are.
