Germany has a solar-incentive program that encourages people to use solar and for farmers to set up solar panels on their farms that make electricity for everyone. Their goal is to make 20% of their electricity by solar by the year 2020. So far their way ahead of schedule and could be at 30% by then.

If Germany can do it, there's no reason the US and China can't do it too. And solar's not the only renewable clean energy. There's also wind power geothermal, and hydro.
