he uses Bully Tactics with other countries. What countries like being treated that way? China has even asked this administration to "back off". The arrogant Americans are just finding out that we are not that important in this world, Beseder. First, MultiNationals do not need the US labor markets. THey can do well in China as evidenced by Walmart's recent entry into the China Communist Union. IBM sold off a large chunk of their op's to CHina. Gates has galvanized his international relationsips aside from this administration. We know that other MultiNationals will be playing along where the labor market is the cheapest and easiest to exploit. China has no need for pollution controls, medical benefits for workers and independent unions to insure safety measures and fair wages for workers. Second, since the OIL companies are also trying to bully their way into the middle-east and Cheney did a splendid job insulting the Russians, and Chvez in SA, these countries will just go around us to get what they want. Did you see how Germany has a healthy trade going with Iran the article you posted? Yet, we have heard how their Chancellor, Angela Merkel, has cemented positive relations with Bush. Hmmmm. So, perhaps, China is emerging as the new world power. What do you think?
