The same people who are hateful to Bart and then have the nerve to call him hateful are the ones who were so hateful to Lila and then called her hateful. They've done it to others, too. It's just the way they are.

As soon as you indicate you are not a member of the rightwing christian cult, they mark you as someone it is okay to be rude and spiteful to. You'll notice they include Jim when they complain about politics, but they are very rarely as rude to him as they are to Bart. That's because he's a Bush lover, just like them. Don't ever forget that's their real complaint. Bart could post subject lines that said nothing but "teddybears are fuzzy" and they'd still call him hateful and claim they never read his posts.

Don't let it bother you. Just try not to laugh too hard when you notice that the "hatefulness" they are so indignant about is the only thing they post about all the while complaining that it's the only topic.
