since we don't seem to share the same values. However, with a jury of my peers and before an audience of people of reasonable persuasion, I think I would be judged a valuable member of society.
I consider being married to the same lady for 47 years and participating in the upbringing of two successful children a positive contribution.
30 years of military service, including a combat tour in Vietnam and several years of duty aboard submarines would be considered a positive by most. (Lots of medals and promotions, too).
An education including a masters degree and varying degrees of skill in five foreign languages has to count in my favor. (Extra credit for teaching courses at the college level).
Four years of varsity football at the college level; and 12 marathons and hundreds of road races in recent years.
A hunter, gatherer and preparer of food for a family of two.
I know you don't place much value on most of those things and are probably repelled by some; but as I said, we have different values.
