This technique is described on miss vickie's site - and I think it's fairly common among indians that use pressure cookers - I've seen stackers sold with indian pressure cookers. You can see the stackers here: I can't think of two things I would cook at the same time that would have similar cooking times except for beans maybe. Instead of doing beans in separate batches - I could do them all at once and throw them in the fridge or freezer to be used later. If you use multiple inserts - what do you cook and what do you use as inserts? Thanks. By the way I've also seen dhokla stands mentioned on this forum but I don't think they have lids. I did find them on the web though and I thought you guys might be interested in seeing what they look like.
