That's what a good knife costs. In any case, my point was steel has moved on IF you want edge retention. Talking about 440A like it's hot stuff no longer cuts it, frankly. Also, now you're talking about ease of self-sharpening, when the whole Cutco ethos seems to be it's ALL about edge-holding ... maybe you could explain to us what the point of Cutco is again? LOL
