first off thermo resin is a high grade plastic...the difference is it resists more normal wear and tear (i dont know if you call dumbasses putting their knives in the oven normal) than standard plastic handles that are usually glued together. the similar logos theory is right up there wit the jfk mystery in my books. finally, if your unemployed child did in fact burn all of your knives, then use the forever guarentee or misuse and abuse policies in the warranty.
