These comments must be the work of another knife company as they are foolish nonsence. I have owned and used the same set of Cutco knives for almost 25 years. Have never even felt the need to get them sharpened. Of all the household items I've purchased in my life I would say they are the best buy I've made. You will NEVER be sorry if you buy them. I wish I had bought them sooner. That way I wouldn't have so much worthless cuttlery around (Henkel included) after the purchase. Can't think of many things that have made me happier except for my wife.
