Hi Liame, I don't use a pressure cooker for large batches of soup, rather, what I use it for is to cut down the cooking time on ingredients like beans, that might go into a soup or other dish, but would normally take much longer to cook. For example, when I make blended greens soup, I cook the black-eyed peas in the pressure cooker, and then throw them into the soup pot, which is my largest pot in the house. Also, when I make vindaloo vegetables, I pressure cook the kidney beans. Mostly I used the PC for cooking beans because it reduces the time from hours to minutes. I think the 7-liter is pretty large as pressure cookers go, and is the largest that I have used, but maybe others here have experience with something larger.
