Just made some this morning. This may sound like a broken record but I use my pc's like a double boiler with a bowl placed on top of the tripod supplied with most pc's for supporting a steamer basket. A souffle dish works great for this purpose.

To make it with an insert:
1. Add about 1" of water to the pc
2. Place tripod & "insert" in pc
3. For each cup of rolled oats measure about 1 1/3 cups water & place in insert (souffle dish or other bowl or pot which will fit in pc)
4. Bring water under insert to boil
5. Add oats to water in insert & stir
6. Close pc lid
7. If possible, vent steam for about a minute to avoid foaming-Oats can really foam when cooking in a pc if steam is not vented after sealing lid. If you have a Kuhn simply hold the center column all the way down for a minute or so
8. Allow pc to get to top pressure & turn off burner.
9. After 4-15 minutes (time isn't too critical when cooking oats this way) release pressure & you have great oatmeal. The texture is much less mushy than when cooked without an insert. I like it a lot better.
