I just learned that Magefesa has discontinued it's spring valve line, the Super Rapid and gone back to a modified weight over valve design in it's classic. Problems? Kuhn Rikon has 5 pressure release systems and has been making it's spring valve design for decades. I own 3 Kuhn Rikon pans and love them. The heat transfer is very fast and even, and very little water loss. They are very quiet. I even once had lentil soup boil up over and out of the main valve and no problems resulted. Definitely the best and worth the higher price considering it will last at least one lifetime.
