Well, Magefesa does seem to have a good customer service department. I called them and spoke with a very nice lady who is sending me another pot right away. She said it is likely a manufacturing defect that took a while to show up and really apologized for the inconvenience. Now, I have to live without my PC for a week, since she said I really shouldn't use it in the meantime. The lump on the pot gets bigger each time and I could have a separation of the base. So, no more fabulous food in little or no time until my replacement arrives! Good thing I made a big pot of soup the other day.
