You might want to bring a pc, tripod and trivet along to see if the bowl fits inside without interfering with the lid. I had to bend the legs on a tripod so the souffle dish would fit. You also might want to consider a pot to act as an insert. I found one (minus handles) which fit my 10 liter pc just about perfectly. The advantage to a pot is that it will probably have more capacity and comes with a lid so the lid can be used post cooking. Other options include stainless salad type bowls/containers. Some of these can have too small of a flat spot on the bottom which makes it not quite as stable as one which the flat bottom extends to the vertical side of the pot.
