but not very "scientific". I have heard that presoaking them and discarding that water before cooking (you can presoak in the pc). I've heard that cooking them with ginger is helpful. I've tried the Kombu as well. I've never tried Beano. But what I think is important is that they are thoroughly cooked. Also you need to eat them slowly, chewing well, and not too much. When I am going to eat a big bowl of beans, I like to use one or two tablets of Betaine HCL and Pepsin to aid digestion.
