You've given me the idea, maybe I'll try the PC for oats in the morning! I'd have to use a casserole inside the PC, but it would work, I'm sure. Probably only take 15 minutes or so, vs. 45 or so for whole oats in a regular pot.

I definitely recommend getting a PC. It's been one of my most valuable and most used kitchen tools, right up there with my Cuisinart and KitchenAid mixer. I use my PC more than I use any of my other cooking pots and pans put together.
