on that other message thread. Oats would take just a few minutes in a PC, but I've always done them in my crock pot overnight for the recipe I use. I like waking up to the smell of apple pie, and having breakfast ready to eat. You've given me the idea, maybe I'll try the PC for oats in the morning! I'd have to use a casserole inside the PC, but it would work, I'm sure. Probably only take 15 minutes or so, vs. 45 or so for whole oats in a regular pot. I definitely recommend getting a PC. It's been one of my most valuable and most used kitchen tools, right up there with my Cuisinart and KitchenAid mixer. I use my PC more than I use any of my other cooking pots and pans put together.
